SilQRoute Times is an independent editorial publication covering the corridor between the Gulf, South Asia and Southeast Asia. The publisher and editor is Nisha Varman, based in Doha, Qatar. For any privacy matter, write to founder@silqroutetimes.com.

Newsletter subscribers. Your email address, and your name where you give it, so we can send the edition you asked for.

Contact and partnership enquiries. The name, email, phone number and message you submit through our forms.

Technical data. Standard server logs and aggregated page measurement, such as page requested, referrer, approximate region, device type and browser.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16, and we do not collect special category data.

To deliver editions you subscribed to, reply to your messages, understand which reporting is useful, protect the site from abuse, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are consent for the newsletter and advertising cookies, and legitimate interests for security and aggregated measurement.

We display advertising through Google AdSense to keep the publication free to read. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Sponsored or partner content is labelled as such. Advertisers never receive subscriber lists and never influence editorial judgement.

We share data only with processors that operate the publication: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and Google advertising. We do not sell reader data. Subscriber records are held until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days. Enquiry messages are held for 24 months.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Every edition carries a one click unsubscribe link. Send requests to founder@silqroutetimes.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. We review this policy periodically and post the revision date at the top of this page.
